Bristol Cathedral School Swing
Band
There
has been a Swing Band at the school for two years now, run
by Modern Languages teacher Mark Etherington. The band now
has an impressive repertoire of 20 numbers or so including
favourites such as “Take Five” and “Kansas
City Blues.”

whenever it has played, and it has developed into a group
of fine young musicians who have learned to read, phrase
and improvise.
