Extra-Curricular
Clubs for Sport There are a number of
regular clubs available. The gym is free at lunch
for Lower School sports’ clubs,
and the Fitness / Weights room is available to
Year 10 students and above. Regular
after-school training for school teams takes place
in all terms, both in school and at Failand. There is also a Judo
Club held in school on Friday lunchtimes for the
Lower School. Trips and Tours The School has a growing
tradition for Educational and Sporting tours. In
the last 5 years the hockey 1st X1 has
toured India twice, the Senior Rugby squad have toured
South Africa and Canada and plans are in place for
soccer, cricket and hockey tours in the next year. We also enter Ten Tour
teams every year, run regular ski trips (the next
one being in Killington, USA in 2004), water-sports
trips both in France and Cornwall as well as regular
mini-tours for sports in the UK.
